These terms define the rights and obligations of AccessiOccasion platform users. The platform connects sellers and buyers of pre-owned assistive equipment for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

AccessiOccasion provides an online platform for publishing listings for pre-owned assistive equipment, browsing published listings, communicating between buyers and sellers via integrated messaging, and making secure payments via Stripe. The platform acts as an intermediary and is not a party to transactions between users.

Prices are set freely by sellers and displayed in euros including all taxes. Payment is made via the secure Stripe payment platform. The amount is charged at the time of order. In case of cancellation or dispute, refunds are processed according to these terms. AccessiOccasion currently does not charge any commission on transactions between individuals.

The buyer selects an item and proceeds to online payment. An order confirmation is sent by notification and email. The seller has 5 days to ship the item. After this period, the order is automatically cancelled and the buyer is refunded.

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the buyer has 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason or pay penalties. To exercise this right, the buyer can cancel the order from their personal space. The refund is made within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

The seller is responsible for shipping the goods within the required timeframe. Delivery tracking is provided via a tracking number entered by the seller. The transfer of risk occurs when the goods are delivered to the buyer. In case of damage during transport, the buyer can open a dispute on the platform.

The buyer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity for goods purchased from professional sellers. For sales between individuals, the warranty against hidden defects applies. The seller is required to accurately describe the condition of the goods in their listing.

AccessiOccasion acts as a technical intermediary and is not a party to sales contracts between users. The platform uses reasonable means to ensure service availability and security, but cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the service, the quality or conformity of goods sold by users, or the non-performance of obligations by sellers or buyers.

AccessiOccasion is committed to protecting users' personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Data collected is necessary for providing the service and is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Each user has the right to access, rectify, delete and port their data, which can be exercised from their personal space or by contacting support.

All platform elements (text, images, logos, source code, design) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior authorization is prohibited. Content published by users (listings, photos) remains their property, but they grant AccessiOccasion a non-exclusive license for service purposes.

In case of a dispute between buyer and seller, users can open a dispute on the platform. The AccessiOccasion team acts as a mediator to facilitate resolution. In accordance with articles L611-1 and R612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may use the MEDICYS mediation service free of charge. These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute and failing amicable resolution, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection rules.

AccessiOccasion reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any substantial modification via platform notification. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
